Church World Service is a faith-based humanitarian organization working globally to support the most vulnerable through disaster response, refugee resettlement, hunger relief, and community development. One of our hallmark programs is CWS Kits and Buckets, which mobilizes thousands of volunteers and donors annually to assemble hygiene kits, school supplies, emergency clean-up buckets, and other critical items that are distributed to individuals and communities in need across the United States and internationally.
Imagine waking up every morning with the chance to change someone's life. Imagine knowing your efforts will benefit both your career and our neighbors around the world. At CWS, our team knows they are making a difference every day. Whether you're in our U.S.-based offices supporting refugees, asylees or unaccompanied children ... implementing hygiene initiatives in Cambodia or rebuilding projects in Central America ... or even connecting remotely from your home on fundraising campaigns, grant reports, or critical communications - you have the opportunity to work towards a world where everyone has food, a voice and a safe place to call home.
CWS is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Distribution and Volunteer Assistant to support its Kits Program operations at the local office site. This part-time, on-site role plays a vital part in engaging volunteers, interacting with donors, and coordinating the flow of donated and assembled kits through the distribution pipeline. The position requires a hands-on, organized individual who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
