Purpose

The Data Integrity Officer is responsible for providing accurate and timely data analysis and support to the CWS-HQ Resettlement team and network to promote high-quality R&P programming and excellence in service delivery across the CWS network. Main responsibilities include professional and innovative presentations and regular reporting of R&P program outcomes for the CWS-HQ Resettlement team to consistently improve systems and processes and provide informed technical assistance, training and support to the CWS network. An important prerequisite for this position is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a collegial manner and to work independently to carry assignments through to completion.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Become an expert with reporting functionality of CWS’ and program partners’ resettlement databases including START and IRIS. Develop expertise in creating IRIS custom reports.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with CWS headquarters R&P staff and the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) team to execute regular reports including the monthly CWS Outcomes Reports and quarterly topical Outcomes Reports that analyze key R&P program outcomes, quarterly Resettlement Reports that highlight key achievements of CWS’ R&P program and network, quarterly Program Progress Reports for funders and additional reports identified.
  • Prepare individualized dashboards and templates for headquarters R&P staff in PowerBi and Excel; including arrivals and placement tracking for the Pre-Arrival unit and R&P Period Report and Quarterly Consultation outcomes for the Post-Arrival unit.
  • Collaborate with the R&P MEAL team to assist the Associate Director of Resettlement to track and analyze R&P program goals and outcomes across the network and advise the Resettlement team and network of trends, areas of concerns, and areas of strength.
  • Assist Resettlement team with desk research and data analysis of key indicators in the exploration of new resettlement sites.
  • Serve as the point of contact for research activities within the Resettlement network
  • Respond to ad-hoc report requests from within the Resettlement team, other CWS departments, the CWS network and funders.
  • Create a library of CWS IRIS standard and custom reports. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for report requests and the execution of CWS’ Outcomes Reports.
  • Collaborate with the RWS MEAL team to create and facilitate user-friendly training sessions for Resettlement team on data tools, reporting, and appropriate use of data.
  • Enhance data visualization and contribute to graphic design of internal and external materials and presentations.
  • Co-Chair the R&P team’s monthly Outcomes Working Group and co-lead meetings discussing key R&P outcomes and trends. Be an active member of CWS’ Training Working Group to ensure training is informed by data analysis.
  • Maintain up-to-date self-education about the Reception and Placement (R&P) program and develop specific expertise in assigned aspects of resettlement programming.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with CWS-HQ staff, local resettlement office staff and external partners through professional communication.
  • As requested, represent CWS at internal and external conferences, meetings, committees and working groups with CWS colleagues, national Resettlement Agencies, federal partners and other stakeholders.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as requested.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education or work experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, interpretation of findings and reporting.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general office work, processing information and materials and maintaining records and files.
  • Experience in a local resettlement affiliate or a national office of a resettlement agency required;
  • Specialized training in analysis of service delivery data and data visualization preferred;
  • Strong computer skills: advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerBi; Excel; Adobe; familiarity with IRIS and START a plus;

This position is a remote US-based role with in-person responsibilities. Employees with a remote work arrangement must be able to fulfil the following conditions:

  • Ability to maintain secure and appropriate personal work environment for day-to-day work
  • Access to strong and reliable internet access
  • Ability to adhere to CWS data security policies and protect sensitive and personally identifiable information
  • Regular work hours must span core business hours 10AM-4PM Eastern time
  • Proximity to U.S. airport and ability to travel to attend CWS and external meetings, conferences, site visits and other in-person engagements.
  • Must use CWS provided equipment such as laptop and cell phone
