The primary purpose of the Case Aide role is to provide support to CWS Lancaster resettlement team with any services required under the Cooperative Agreement with the Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugee and Migration, as well as under the Matching Grant (MG) Agreement with the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
The Case Aide will also schedule initial medical appointments, clothing bank appointments, Social Security appointments, and coordinates transportation needs for new arrivals with volunteers and case managers.
The Case Aide will work with the case managers, Resettlement Supervisor and Associate Director for Welcome to address areas of concern and gather any missing documentation.

Education: Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in education, Intercultural Studies, Social Work, or similar field or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience: Previous work experience in refugee resettlement or other direct social services is preferred. Ability to educate in a culturally sensitive manner is required.
