The primary purpose of the CWS Durham Paralegal is to provide administrative support to the CWS Durham Immigration Legal Services Program, and assist DOJ Accredited Representatives in providing eligibility screenings, application completion, and follow-up services, to eligible refugees, asylees, lawful permanent residents (LPRs), and immigrants eligible for the Central American Minor (CAM) Refugee Program.
Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous work or volunteer experience with asylum seekers, refugees, asylees, and other immigrants. At least one year (or two academic semesters) of related experience as a paralegal or intern is preferred.
